About Us

The aim of the Centre is to undertake a programme of research and related activities which will inform the development of policy and provision in the field of lifelong learning in Scotland and beyond.

Working in collaborative partnership  with other researchers, universities, colleges, government and related agencies CRLL’s activities embrace research, development and knowledge exhange and may be conceptualised as:

• Real world, problem oriented research
• Intelligence and monitoring
• Research as intervention to lever strategic change
• Programme evaluations
• Interactive/action research
• Advice and advocacy
