Glasgow Caledonian University Staff
The centre provides strategic leadership for university activity relating to widening participation, transition and progression and for the development and maintenance of the university’s links with colleges. This includes the SFC-funded Greater Glasgow Articulation Partnership (GGAP) and the GCU funded Moving Forward Initiative. GGAP is delivering a collaborative programme of work, with partner colleges, universities, employers and other agencies, to enhance the volume and quality of articulation activity within the Greater Glasgow area. The strategic aim of GGAP is to widen participation in HE by developing a sustainable infrastructure for articulation. Moving Forward represents a university-wide strategic approach to Widening Participation, transition and progression. Its work centres on partnership working across the university and beyond as well as evidence-based practice.

Facilitate a seminar or workshop
As part of its ongoing programme of work, the Centre hosts a seminar and workshop series to bring together a small number of people (max 25) who have a clear interests in particular topics. Each seminar or workshop will be in the form of a presented paper followed by a discussion and will usually last 2 hours.
The CRLL seminar series, are academic seminars thematically focused on lifelong learning policy and/or practice research. The audience tends to be drawn from within the lifelong learning community.
The CRLL Workshop series has a more multi-disciplinary focus around research and development practices e.g. methodologies.
If you are interested in leading a CRLL seminar or workshop on an aspect of your own work, please get in touch with us.
